Join us for the first annual French Canadian day at Rapscallion!
The inspiration behind the day is to celebrate the rich French Canadian history of the greater Sturbridge area from the Quebec diaspora – dating back to the mid-1800s to the mid-1900s – a movement to work many of the thriving mills in the area.
As part of the celebration, Raps will be offering many traditional food and beverage items such as poutine, meat pies, and pea soup. We will also have our take on a Quebec beverage called Caribou Juice. We plan to add some more surprises as well and will release the details as we come closer.
At 4 pm, enjoy live music by 11 on the Outside, a local favorite from Southbridge with French Canadian heritage.
